Folded cardboard, bed
The itbed is made from 7 mm thick cardboard that is folded like an accordion. In one step the itbed can be collapsed into an easily portable bundle... The zigzag profile of the itbed, reminiscent of a house of cards, is stabilized from head to foot by two lengths of webbing.
The itbed is also 370 euro and up, so make one yourself.
ItBed [via 2 or 3 things]
i cannot be*lieve* the price on that thing.

Real good looking and smart.
ReplyDeleteAre we the only parents who just put a twin mattress on the ground for their kid to transition from crib to bed? Worked like a charm - the baby gate kept the kid in her room - and if she rolled out of bed nobody got hurt. I remember somebody once doing something with a twin mattress on a double mattress on the floor...but the same basic idea.
ReplyDeleteI think that's going to be our plan with Elsa (mattress on the floor).
ReplyDeleteWhen did you start the transition?
She should have been about 2...as soon as she adjusted (she didn't really even seem notice the change) we got started on potty-training. Of course, this means it is likely to be hell with the second one.
